Beta software is also very interesting and fun to mess around with but I would never run it on a real machineĪlso, the one that said about lack of intelligence and Windows 10, I agree too, Windows 10 is for idiots with its dumbing down and condensing error messages (see: BSOD, Edge's HTTP errors, etc.Mozilla has switched Firefox to a rapid release development cycle which means New versions will come more frequently. I totally agree! Virtualising/emulating older systems is good but running them on real hardware perhaps due to incompatible software or such with the latest versions of Windows. Perhaps I am wrong here, but I don't think all curiosity in these systems is necessarily bad if taken with care. I think it makes for very interesting conversation which I believe is part of what adds to the value of the software being preserved. While I would not run them as the operating system on my hardware, I don't see as much harm in emulating the systems and experimenting with them from there. I would certainly agree that on a security level you're putting yourself at a heightened amount of risk though I feel these risks could also potentially be mitigated by emulating such a system instead. These who lack intelligence better run the latest Windows 10 (preferably the S version), or suffer the consequences. You're totally right, outdated/beta software can be very dangerous when combined with lack of intelligence. Vkmore wrote:Is like driving car with zero features of safety.
